Overview

Sheep Stations is a single-player board game for Android. We do not sell your data, show advertising, or operate user accounts. This policy explains what the app stores on your device and what is sent over the internet.

Information We Collect

We do not collect:

  • Email addresses or phone numbers
  • Precise location
  • Contacts, photos, or files from your device
  • Payment or financial information

When you win a game, the app may send your character name (chosen at game setup), turn count, and a timestamp to our global Hall of Fame leaderboard so players can compare scores.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following locally using on-device storage (AsyncStorage):

  • Game save data (progress, cash, sheep, paddocks, and related game state)
  • A cached copy of recent leaderboard results for faster display

Game saves remain on your device unless you clear app data, uninstall the app, or restore from a device backup through your Google account.

Network Access

The app may connect to the following services over HTTPS:

  • Supabase — to submit and read global Hall of Fame leaderboard entries (character name, turn count, and timestamp)
  • Expo Updates — to check for and download application updates

Gameplay save data is not uploaded as part of normal play.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — hosts the global leaderboard database
  • Expo — provides over-the-air update infrastructure

We do not use analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs.

Data Retention and Deletion

Leaderboard entries are kept until removed by the developer. To request removal of a leaderboard entry, contact us through the Google Play store listing for Sheep Stations and include the character name and approximate date of the score.

To delete local game data, use your device settings to clear app storage or uninstall the app.

Children's Privacy

Sheep Stations is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Leaderboard submissions use only the in-game character name you select at setup.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be available at this URL and summarized in the app under Privacy Policy.
